Collaborations With The Knight Foundation’s Idea Center At Miami Dade College
Throughout the course of every Semester, the Idea Center at Miami Dade College puts together seminars, focus groups, and workshops aimed at the entrepreneurial population of metropolitan Miami. Our Chapter has agreed to connect our members with the Idea Center’s events and coordinators. Through this agreement, our members will find themselves in very unique opportunities for professional networking, relevant topic exploration, and event planning and executing appreciation.
My Miami Story Day With The Miami Foundation
During the Spring Semester, our Chapter will offer members the opportunity to volunteer their time in organizing a major event for The Miami Foundation while hosting a My Miami Story College Edition Day. There are various opportunities for members to participate throughout the months of February, March, and April. It is important for our members, as future industry professionals, to witness firsthand their community and share the experience of being part of this local initiative that looks to empower the entire Miami community to own their city and identify how they can take an active role as Miami’s Change Makers.
